How Much More Can You Ask For?

General overview for June 2006.

This month of June is fairly active with Mercury changing signs twice; Venus and Mars changing signs; the Sun changing signs (as per usual each month); and lastly with Uranus turning retrograde.

Overall however, there are only four helpful planetary alignments this month, compared to nine not so helpful ones.

Last month I posed the question “what more do you want?”. Now I am wondering how much more can you ask for? Personally I believe we can have just about everything our heart desires. It is up to us to pursue our goals with the greatest passion, and hopefully, if luck is on our side, we can have it all.

Life is really just a process of dying, from the moment we are born. Therefore we are challenged to put as much life into our life as we possibly can, before we are snuffed out by the Gods of destiny.

Many years ago I remember someone saying that when you get the green light you should go. When you get the red light you should stop. When you get the amber light you should slow down and hesitate. Life is very much like that. If your goal in life is to find the love of your life, then go to it. If you cannot find this, then move onto something else and pursue your creative talents or do some travelling. Whatever you are meant to be doing will always give you the green light. That is your own personal signal. Life flows smoothly when you are on the right track for yourself. If you are on the wrong track you will get all sorts of signals, whether you recognise them or not. The signals are always there, it is just up to us to see them and take notice.

If something doesn’t feel right about a job you are in, then look elsewhere. Do the same in relationships. If you beloved is not showing you love, appreciation, affection, let them go. We are not meant to be miserable, we are meant to be happy and fulfilled. You can have everything that you ask for, you just have to know what that is, and start asking.

OK, OK, I have rambled on again!

Now down to the specifics………………

On Saturday 3 June 2006 Mercury will enter Cancer and remain in this sign up until 29 June 2006. The sign of Cancer is associated with the mother, the womb, home and family matters and our sense of heritage or patriotism to our country. There will be more talk connected to those issues and news reports focussing more than usual on these everyday concerns. Those who are sensitive to criticism will need to strengthen their backbone somewhat, lest hurt feelings are flying all over the place.

On Sunday 4 June Mars will enter the royal sign of Leo and remain in this sign up until 23 July 2006. During this time we may see attention focussed on the price of gold. There will also be added focus on the entertainment world, movies and glamorous people stepping out and being counted and noticed, especially for anything outstanding that they do or announce around this time. Extravagance and luxury will be in the news and people buying up big and being generous and lavish in their expenditures. Credit cards will be utilised with careless abandon. Spending will be seen to show off power and oblivious to what the ‘have nots’ do not have. The Lords and Ladies of the world will be in their element and dressing up and going out with no thought for the rest of the world.

There will be a Full Moon on Monday 12 June 2006 with the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius. This may produce a situation where some people will speak out of turn, or what they do say is in conflict with, or jeopardises, what they really believe in.

On Monday 19 June Uranus will turn retrograde and remain in this phase up until mid November 2006. Uranus is the inventor and the discoverer of places beyond our imagination. We may try to re-discover how we can tap into our own unique imagination and realise our true potential and capabilities. We may have denied some of the things that could be and now we may investigate and discover what really is possible.

On Wednesday 21 June the life-giving Sun will enter Cancer and remain in this sign for one whole calendar month. This will tend to put an emphasis on matters connected to the home, family, one’s own country and strong, yet highly sensitive emotions connected to these matters. People are more inclined to set boundaries and walls that divide rather than the elements that unify one another. Some may be over-protective of what they believe is their birthright, or their inherited values and traditions.

On Saturday 24 June Venus will enter Gemini and remain in this sign until 19 July. Thoughts can turn to matters of peace and harmony and some negotiations are likely to be reached by those who try hard enough to achieve an amicable agreement. If people have the purest possible intentions, then this can be a time of gaining some universal solutions to difficult problems. Artists, writers, musicians and poets may produce some wonderful works and can sell these ideas to the public with relative ease. However Gemini is a changeable sign, so don’t count on stability or people sticking to their decisions. They could be in love with one person one day, and off looking at someone else the next.

On Monday 26 June there will be a New Moon at nearly 4 degrees of Cancer. For those who have personal planets at this degree, you may reach a new perspective on a current situation and be able to reach into the future with confidence. For some it can spell a turning point in life.

Jupiter continues to remain retrograde and will remain in this phase up until 6 July 2006. This I feel will reflect in many and varied way according to your own unique position and beliefs about life. Jupiter has rulership over faith. This could prove to be a time when some of us will question our faith and whether it is strong enough to sustain us in trying times. The earthquake in Bam in Iran would have to be one of those disasters, where those who are affected, would question why this has happened to them. The beliefs may undergo scrutiny and re-assessment. Some may feel they can no longer believe what they have always believed and may have a change of heart about how they will now view their lives. Jupiter also has to do with the courts and the justice system, so here again there may be some long drawn out situations, or perhaps a decision is made that is challenged by many who disagree with the initial outcome. Some people may want the justice system changed to incorporate capital punishment, and whether this is a wise choice or not, is not for me to decide. We could also see further incidents to do with the issues surrounding euthanasia and other matters associated with death, our mortality rate, taxes, insurance and all other inevitable matters come under scrutiny due to the influence of Jupiter in Scorpio.

Neptune continues to be retrograde and will remain in this phase up until almost the end of October 2006. Neptune is the planet of high ideals and elusion. It is also the planet that dissolves situations including ice, icebergs, snow and hail. It can also produce mud slides. This planet was the pivotal planet in the event chart of the landslide in Thredbo. Whilst Jupiter retrograde may have seen many of us go through of period of questioning whether we have enough faith to sustain us, Neptune retrograde may lead some of us to question our ideals and our views on reality. This is also the planet related to drugs and alcohol. There may be far more people finding secret places to hide their trade, and this will make it harder to track those bringing illegal substances in and out of the various countries.

Pluto continues to be retrograde and remain in this phase up until 4 September 2006. Pluto is the transformer of the zodiac, and will literally turn your life around when making alignments to your own personal planets. However, when in retrograde phase it allows you the opportunity, once again to re-assess you current motives, your passions, your intimate relationships and your attitude towards, life, death, and even sex to decide if what you have chosen in recent times is for you overall good and development. Personally I prefer it when Pluto is in direct motion, but as I have said before, we can’t always have the planets where we want them or going in the direction we may prefer. Utilise this time to delve into your subconscious, go exploring your deepest psyche and uncover elements that you thought were hidden, even from yourself, and analyse them as if your life depended on it. The revelations you may experience may literally wipe your current slate clean and allow you to pursue your goals with absolute freedom when Pluto resumes direct motion in September 2006. Pluto will remain in Sagittarius until 27 November 2008. Pluto will retrograde back into Sagittarius for five months starting in June 2008 and then re-enter Capricorn in late November 2008.

For horary enthusiasts, continuing all month we still observe Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces indicating that they are still in mutual reception. Jupiter will continue to remain in mutual reception with Pluto all through May, right up until late November 2006.

Now down to the specifics of daily planetary activity.

The favourable days in June 2006 are:

Friday 9 June: Mercury trine Jupiter. This angle promises those who strive to see the bigger picture will do so and teach those who listen how to find it themselves. A great day to start a holiday or travel to places previously unseen. This could prove to be a great day to start writing a new book, open a book store or one associated with the travel industry. People will generally tend to be liberal and broad-minded in their thinking and approach to life. Also a favourable day to start teaching, lecturing or writing a lengthy project. The area of communications and information will be busy and any business started today that connects with these will fare well. This is a good time for negotiations and for getting your message across. The advertising and news media areas will be highly productive. There could be a merger between two large organisations, companies or countries, that can benefit everyone involved. Expansion is the key-word for the day, so plan to make this as positive a time as possible. A busy day for the travel industry and Internet.

Sunday 11 June: Sun trine Neptune. This is one of those days that will seem magical to those who are open and attuned to the cosmic vibrations around them. A positively inspiring day and one that will be long remembered as a day that brings the beautiful side of nature and life to our attention and the recognition that there are great wonders all around us, each and every day, if we just open our eyes and senses. Spend some time relaxing near the ocean and it will soothe your tired or restless soul. Music will be inspirational and those who are gifted in this area may create some magical lyrics or tunes. Opening a store selling musical or artistic products should fare well.

Also today, Sunday 11 June: Venus sextile Uranus. Those who dare to be innovative will capture the attention of their audience in a startling and exciting way during this time. Love relationships started today will be different in as many ways as there are stars in the sky. People involved in the arts, musical, beauty or related fields will be very productive and become more creative and inventive than usual. Those who wish to shock the conservative ones will be pleasantly surprised at how well they are actually accepted. The more unique your product or talent that you wish to show or sell will prove highly prosperous. A good day to get married, go on a first date, buy new clothes or throw a party or become involved in any form of entertainment.

Tuesday13 June: Mercury trine Uranus. This is a day for the scientists, the astrologers, inventors, pilots and the aviation industry to be highly productive. Flashes of insight are possible for those who are open minded. A great day to launch a product that is original and designed to have some kind of shock appeal. Some people will get the best ideas they have ever come up with so start a brainstorming session today and it will continue well into the evening due to the high mental energy.

The not so favourable days in June 2006 are:

Thursday 1 June: Mercury opposition Pluto. This is an aspect that will test those who are trying to push their wares or ideas on others, for resistance will be felt, which could be very subtle and hidden from view. Documents, alarming news and propaganda will claim the mass attention in some way so be alert and read everything thoroughly that you have to sign. Preferably wait for a more fortunate time to commence any new undertaking, especially if it involves taxes, insurance, or other joint monetary ventures. We need to guard against being manipulated or coerced into something we would rather not do. People who insist on digging up old matters from the past will find they cannot heal their wounds just yet, as it is too painful or confronting. There are likely to by many communications that should be mistrusted, whether verbal, e-mail or by letter. Documents may be misleading or have loop holes that are indiscernible. Agreements are unlikely or will be fraught with problems.

Monday 5 June: Venus square Saturn. Not a good day to get married, start a new relationship or go on a first date. Any one of these will be productive of delays, limitations or burdens and other difficulties that will be hard to overcome. People will tend to be hard to reach or fathom or understand. Barriers that tend to divide will be more noticeable than usual. Do not start a new business today, especially if it involves women’s products, beauty, music or the arts. Not a good day to try to reach amicable agreements, especially with those near and dear to you. Some will tend to become disappointed in a big way. The air is filled with distance and coldness so don’t attempt to make up with your lover if you have had a fight, as they will not want to hear your plight and may just turn their back and walk the other way. Friendships and new romances will not get off to a good start and may involve heavy responsibilities later on or you find out you have to look after them more than is healthy. Not a good day to start a new business as the setbacks and delays may curtail your freedom and not be worth the effort applied.

Also today, the Sun squares Uranus. Don’t count on things going as planned today, for every little hiccup can magnify and throw your life into chaos. Air travel may be disrupted or exceptionally busy and mistakes are likely to occur that interfere with the way you had wanted things to go. Have a plan B ready as more than likely you will need it. Sudden, unexpected events can occur quite rapidly and prevent an easy flow of ideas and plans. Avoid rebellious people and eccentrics as they can play havoc with your routines or your way of life. Someone in power may have their status changed or they suffer an unexpected fall.

Wednesday 7 June: Venus opposition Jupiter. This is not perhaps the worst day in the month, unless you are going shopping with that brand new credit card and get carried away by all the goodies on offer. Things will be over-done and lavish and if you apply this in relation to a party, well at least everyone will have a good time, even if they do eat and drink too much or start some new relationship that seems inappropriate to their status. Weddings held today will be big, brash, boastful and very expensive. Diamond dealers may have a good retail trading day as will businesses selling perfumes, flowers, clothing, jewellery and other items of beauty and adornment.

Thursday 15 June: Venus square Neptune. This unhelpful alignment may lure some people who are planning to mix business with pleasure and this brings about disappointment, loss or other confusion due to outright deception or serious camouflage. It is not the time to commit to a relationship or even a friendship, for there is likely to be something glossed over that hides the real truth or some elementary ugliness. An apparent secure relationship may come unstuck and reveal a trail of dishonesty, treachery and lies. Those who live life on the surface and pretend to be happy will be faced with having to show their dirty washing and even then, there may still be something lurking in their pockets. Check all your facts and any new faces you meet today.

Saturday 17 June: Sun opposition Pluto. This is potentially a highly volatile and explosive angle that can erupt from out of nowhere and create chaos and ruin for those who take chances with their lives and their safety. A VIP or other person of high standing may take a fall or be held accountable for some misdeed from their past. Any secrets that are buried may be re-surfaced and exposed for all to see. This will be an ugly time for some, as the underworld elements of this can be exposed and create unpleasant situations for people to try to extract themselves from what they are involved in. Not a good day to buy a car, go into business, get married, engaged or start a new job, friendship or other personal decisions that can reflect on oneself at a later time. Be careful who you associate with and do not trust strangers. Alleyways and dark places should be avoided like the plague.

Sunday 18 June: Mars conjunct Saturn. We have this harsh angle between Mars the God of War and sombre Saturn. Not a day to start a new business or new friendship or romantic involvement, nor get married or buy a car or other important machinery for your business. Not the day either to invest money or get involved in foreign affairs or overseas interests. Bide your time in all important matters and do not buy a new home today.

Monday 19 June: Mars square Jupiter. This alignment can stir things up in the world. Don’t challenge the law courts today or take on a big project where you are expecting a favourable outcome. Chances are your energies will be wasted or misused or you will be incorrectly guided about a very serious and important matter. Avoid large groups of people or situations where things can be blown out of all proportion to the matter at hand. Not a good day to travel, so plan another day if possible. A judge or magistrate may have a contentious issue to deal with that will be difficult to dissolve and cause embarrassment to someone in a high position, perhaps even to themselves. Some people may go out of their way to make a big splash and could overdo in more ways than one. Unfortunately this can also bring some fracas with the legal system and those who uphold it, so stay away from those doing things to excess, lest you get caught up in their enthusiasm and get led astray and into the arms of the law. Some people who manifest the negative energies of this placement may feel that might makes right and clashes of muscles versus the law can erupt. Not the day to get married or form any other legally binding relationship. Not a day to buy a car or test your strength. Those who speed down the highway, may bring about untold misery for themselves and others.

Friday 23 June: Jupiter square Saturn. Jupiter represents liberty, freedom, justice and the fair end of the deal. Saturn is just the opposite and often relates to restrictions, delays, limitations and what keeps people on the straight and narrow and following conservative rules. These two planets in a square angle means that these two opposite type of energies are at odds with one another. Some people will want to have their freedom at all costs, and those who pursue this to the end may find themselves still having to deal with some restrictions or limitations as a consequence. At the other end of the scale, those who follow the rules may be challenged by those who think they should be more liberal and not so old fashioned by doing everything by the book. I would not consider this a favourable time to travel, nor enter fields of industry involved with the travel industry, especially connected to trains, or to do with government agencies, politics or the law.

Wednesday 28 June: Mars quincunx Uranus. This is highly explosive and accident prone so do not start out on any new journey or buy a car today. Try to avoid working with heavy machinery or electrical items as something may go horribly wrong. Plans will be unsettled and errors likely to arise quite unexpectedly. Take your time if people start to get pushy or forceful. Riots can develop easily so avoid large gatherings or people who are out to start a fight. Do not make any particularly personal decisions today as this could be fraught with problems and dangerous conditions. A tendency for people to knee-jerk in their reactions to others if they do not get what they want or hear what they want to hear. An accident prone day relatively speaking. People generally won’t be co-operative and disruptive behaviour and even eccentricities will be far more intolerable to cope with than usual. Avoid those who are rebellious or anti-social for they will instigate disruptive actions that will attract problems for themselves and those around them.
