Break Down The Walls

General overview for November 2009.

Well, we have one of the most powerful planetary patterns this month with Saturn squaring Pluto. This can mean that we have to break down the walls before we can move on with our lives. Whatever structures you felt were stable and comfortable may now have to be changed irrevocably. This is not an easy process. Whilst this is happening, personally, I have transiting Pluto at 0 degrees Capricorn, and square my natal Saturn at 0 degrees of Libra, and this has changed my life in many, many ways. The challenge is to go with the flow and allow the changes to happen. We now have to let go of what we no longer need in our lives (that is Saturn's lesson) and do it through a transformative (Pluto) process of total elimination. Good Luck.

November is going to be a complex process of challenges. All of the difficult alignments are squares, which represent obstacles to be overcome. The beneficial alignments symbolise the opportunities to change our thought processes. True and romantic love can be found for those in search of such happiness.

With the emphasis on the squares and the huge Saturn/Pluto alignment we can expect that whatever happens this month will totally alter our perspectives for the future.

Throughout November there are a total of 18 aspects with 10 favourable ones, compared to 8 not so helpful ones.

In chronological order the changes in the heavens this month will be: a Full Moon on 3 November; Neptune turns direct on 5 November; Venus enters Scorpio on 8 November; there will be a New Moon in Scorpio on 17 November; and lastly the Sun enters Sagittarius on 22 November.

There will be a Full Moon on 3 November with the Sun at 10 degrees of Scorpio and the Moon at 10 degrees of Taurus, which are both fixed signs of the zodiac. Some people may be unable to budge or move themselves into changing any of their previously set plans. Comfort zones will be uppermost in the minds of those who dislike change.

Neptune turns direct on 5 November at 24 degrees of Aquarius on 5 November. This is just wonderful for artists, musicians, writers and poets. Those who may feel as though they had lost sight of the dreams in recent times, may now feel that the Universe is once again open for their perusal and investigation. Psychics will become more in tune and will pick up subtle signals around them to aid their choosing of the right time to do things. The ocean will seem like the most tranquil place to be and those who live near the water, such as myself, will be in their element and soaking up the vibrations of peace and tranquility from witnessing a beautiful sunrise over the magnificent ocean waves. (I just can’t help myself can I?)

Venus enters Scorpio on 8 November and remains in this sign up until 2 December. Those with a deep seated passionate nature will suddenly feel that they want to have their most basic needs met. It is a sultry and magnetic sign and with the entry of Venus here for the next four weeks we may see some super sexy clothing being draped over the rich and the famous or the super models of the day. The focus will be on seduction to a high degree so expect to have your eyes popping during this time frame.

There will be a New Moon in Scorpio on 17 November at 24 degrees of Scorpio. If you have personal planets at this degree in your personal chart you may notice that you are given a second chance to renew your life or eliminate that which is no longer needed for your personal satisfaction.

The Sun enters Sagittarius on 22 November and remain in this sign up until 21 December. This can bring overseas matters to the fore and there could very well be a big focus on Australia and someone in prominence here or a VIP visiting this country or having an impact overseas. Some members of the British Royal family may be on the move and traveling far and wide.

Uranus continues to be retrograde and will remain in this phase up until 1 December 2009. Uranus is the inventor and the discoverer of places beyond our imagination. We may try to re-discover how we can tap into our own unique imagination and realise our true potential and capabilities. We may have denied some of the things that could be and now we may investigate and discover what really is possible.

Pluto turned direct on 12 September at nearly 1 degree of Capricorn. The mighty planet Pluto finally decided to get its act together and move into forward motion, so if you have been mulling over things associated with your past and attempting to set things right and rid yourself of excess baggage, whether that be emotional, or in your accumulation of goods in your home, you may now have a breakthrough and be able to move ahead in a much freer state of mind as if you have wiped the slate clean once and for all. It is time to leave the past in the past, move forward with confidence and a new philosophy that will be more appropriate to your current status and position in life. Some of us will have grown and become more mature during the retrograde phase and rehashed over many things from our memories that have haunted us and held us back. Now we can rise again, like the Phoenix, and start a whole new era. Pluto is the transformer, so this now heralds the time to get things moving. I personally am always so much more positive when Pluto is moving in direct motion. It is then that I feel things are on track. Pluto has nearly completed its transit through the sign Sagittarius and therefore those of us who have undergone some alteration in our beliefs and views on life are pretty much settled with this now.

Now down to the specifics of daily planetary activity.

The favourable days in November 2009 are:

Tuesday 3 November: Venus trine Neptune. This is just wonderful for a first date, getting engaged or married or throwing a huge party or other social gathering. If you utilise the themes of the ocean, romantic or magical effects, the outcome will be truly fascinating for all those who participate. Musicians, artists and poets will be in their element with their thoughts and imagination flowing freely and inspired by the mystical aspects of the Universe. A good day to open a business with a focus on the elements of beauty, flowers, crystals, perfumes and women’s products. This could be a heavenly day. Some people may be lucky enough to find their soul-mate. This is a magical time and will colour over all misgivings and produce a haze of wonder and delight that will leave you gasping. New friendships or romances commenced today seem idyllic and will restore your faith in humanity. People generally will appear to be more caring and compassionate. This is the kind of day when everything looks beautiful and inspirational. An ocean journey would be quite pleasurable to the senses or any other similar beautiful scenic location. A wisp of magical stardust will drift down from the heavens and gloss over today, inclining some romantic types to fall in love. The Sun will rise before you even had the chance to put out the candle lights.

Thursday 5 November: Sun conjunct Mercury. This aspect makes some people get really focused mentally while others just get flustered or frazzled by too much grey matter being stimulated. For those who like a fast pace in their daily routine they will sail ahead smoothly and swiftly. The others will have to do it again probably, and then they will get it right. This is called a combust situation, where a planet is so close to the Sun and the Sun can literally burn up the other planet. This can cause a congestion of information on telephone lines, faxes, e-mails and even face to face communications, where one person is just not hearing the other or cannot seem to reach an agreement or get their heads together on the same issue. Postpone any really important negotiations until a better day. Some people will enjoy a day like this and they will not be agitated by the influx of interruptions or extra communications because they will literally thrive on it. At least they will not have a boring day. The rest of us will be somewhat confused and exhausted by the end of the day and be seeking some quiet time away from the demands of this modern world.

Monday 9 November: Venus sextile Pluto. This is a magnificent combination and can produce a great day for those seeking true love. I adore this kind of planetary formation. If you should happen to meet a new lover under this influence you will be radically changed overnight. This new person will seem magnetic and passionate. You may feel you have been put under a spell, and in a way you are right. This influence is deep, hypnotic and highly sexual, so expect to go into a relationship and become totally and intimately involved, and very quickly too. Also a good day to get married, start a new business enterprise especially if it involves regeneration themes, getting fit or to do with women’s products and services.

Wednesday 11 November: Mercury trine Uranus. A buzzing and electrically charged day so plan your agenda with plenty of room to maneuver when the interruptions come in. Many will find themselves mentally exhausted after a day like this and the long hot bath at the end of the day will be truly welcomed before retiring to bed. Some will just thrive though, receiving flashes like bolts of lightening entering their brainwaves. Some will come up with the most amazing insights and new inventions. Keep a pen and paper handy or a tape recorder for all those great ideas to make note of before they get lost in cyberspace. The Internet will go into overdrive too and your in-box could overflow or get blocked in some way due to over use. This is a day for the scientists, the astrologers, inventors, pilots and the aviation industry to be highly productive. Flashes of insight are possible for those who are open minded. A great day to launch a product that is original and designed to have some kind of shock appeal. Some people will get the best ideas they have ever come up with so start a brainstorming session today and it will continue well into the evening due to the high mental energy.

Sunday 15 November: Sun trine Uranus. This is a very electrical kind of day and one that can bring enormous excitement into people’s lives. Be prepared for the unexpected and the unusual and you will not be disappointed. A great day to go exploring, visit a place you have never been to before, start a new and exciting job or business, especially if it is connected to electronics, the Internet or aviation. Some people will come up with some potentially revolutionary ideas today and inventors will be inspired to bring something new and dazzling to the rest of us. New friendships started today will be very different to what you are used to and could literally turn your life around.

Tuesday 17 November: Mercury sextile Saturn. This brings the kind of day to gain a clear focus and become super organised, especially with paperwork, telephone calls and any demanding job that requires concentration and attention to detail. Maybe balance the cheque-book or start a new study course. Jobs commenced today may have long term obligations involved so if you are mature and keen to plant the seeds for things to grow slowly yet surely, take some action and get started today. This is also a good time to sit down and do some serious planning for your future. You will feel organised and enjoy the challenge of putting your life in order and meeting your obligations. Any new business proposal can be considered to be worth your effort or investigation.

Wednesday 25 November: Sun sextile Saturn. This promises to keep the established order of things on the right track. If you wish to impress the boss, or show them how responsible and hard working you are, then choose today to make your move. Choose to be upstanding, conservative and reliable and your efforts will be recognized, perhaps not overnight, but it will happen. Applying for jobs in the public service or other traditional establishment will meet with success if you follow the rules to the T. Dress conservatively, obey orders, be on time, and you will surely rise up the corporate ladder if that is what you are wishing for. People need to know they can rely on you and realise that you are the rock upon which others can lean on for guidance and wisdom. Serious efforts made today will have very long range effects so put some real energy into your endeavors. Be there for the long haul, and success will follow.

Thursday 26 November: Venus trine Uranus. Those who dare to be innovative will capture the attention of their audience in a startling and exciting way during this time. Love relationships started today will be different in as many ways as there are stars in the sky. People involved in the arts, musical, beauty or related fields will be very productive and become more creative and inventive than usual. Those who wish to shock the conservative ones will be pleasantly surprised at how well they are actually accepted. The more unique your product or talent that you wish to show or sell will prove highly prosperous. A good day to get married, go on a first date, buy new clothes or throw a party or become involved in any form of entertainment.

Friday 27 November: Mercury trine Mars. This is a high energy day on a mental level so people will want to voice their opinions or be vocal about what they consider important. A good day to start a new business that requires huge doses of both intellect and muscle. Also a good time to take a hike, enter a marathon run, or join up with a group of young people to swap ideas on how to get fit and stay healthy. This is also a time to become organised with your filing system, conquer the mountain of paperwork and then let off steam later in the gym for some muscle flexing.

Sunday 29 November: Mercury sextile Jupiter. This angle promises those who strive to see the bigger picture will do so and teach those who listen how to find it themselves. A great day to start a holiday or travel to places previously unseen. This could prove to be a great day to start writing a new book, open a book store or one associated with the travel industry. People will generally tend to be liberal and broad-minded in their thinking and approach to life. Also a favourable day to start teaching, lecturing or writing a lengthy project. The area of communications and information will be busy and any business started today that connects with these will fare well. This is a good time for negotiations and for getting your message across. The advertising and news media areas will be highly productive. There could be a merger between two large organisations, companies or countries, that can benefit everyone involved. Expansion is the key-word for the day, so plan to make this as positive a time as possible. A busy day for the travel industry and the Internet.

The not so favourable days in November 2009 are:

Monday 2 November: Mercury square Mars. This is not the day to buy a new car, start a new business or take on more than you can handle. Some people may make hasty or rash decisions, and will wish they hadn't very soon after. Some people may stretch the brawn or the brain, or both, and end up with sore muscles or a headache. I would not advise starting a long road or rail journey. The news may not be what we want to hear and bad news tends to travel fast on days like this too. Also don't expect people to be patient or tolerant today and do not attempt to reach amicable agreements as people just won't be in the mood, or just too rushed to listen. Some people may not take enough care with their speech, taking one foot out of the mouth only to replace it with the other foot just as quickly.

Monday 9 November: Mercury square Jupiter. Big plans made today may not fulfill your initial requirements, further down the road. If you order one hundred of something, it may turn out that you only needed five. The emphasis will be on expansion and learning, but the effort and enthusiasm will be just as big an ask. Commit only to what you are suited to, or else you could find yourself out on a limb in less time that you can say your name. It would be wise not to commit yourself to anything today that could bring you possible legal difficulties further down the road. People will over-commit or take on more than is wise and choke on it all at a later time. People cannot be trusted to do as they say or follow through on obligations.

Wednesday 11 November: Sun square Jupiter. Not the kind of day to make promises that you later may find hard to keep. So don’t try to talk or discuss philosophical issues with those in positions of power or associated with the legal sector of society. Some human rights may be violated on a day like this. Not the kind of day to be caught up in a big crowd as things can get out of hand and problems arise to do with large gatherings of people, especially near big buildings or law courts. Do not start any new business venture unless you have a lot of capital to back you up when things don’t pan out as much, or as soon as, you had hoped for. I also would not recommend getting married as it may prove to be a heavy burden involving more than you can safely or adequately handle.

Thursday 12 November: Mercury square Neptune. This is one of those potentially deceitful days when people can easily colour over their mistakes and present a picture that is marred inside and out, if you would only lift the veil of illusion to view the ugly and distorted truth. It is wise not to sign any important documents on a day like this as there will be more loopholes than found in a fish-net. Those who generally tend to give people the benefit of the doubt will prove to be the most vulnerable. Do not believe all you read or hear today as there will be lies and deception running rampant.

Monday 16 November: Saturn square Pluto. Generally speaking be careful in all your endeavours. The lead up to this spans quite a few weeks so use your own intuition regarding all personal decisions throughout most of November, to avoid being manipulated into taking on others beliefs and opinions. Choose your friends carefully and make no important decisions around now that could be put off to more favourable days in the future. People are likely to be at loggerheads in their beliefs and philosophies and a breakthrough is possible, but only for those who are prepared to look at life with a broader perspective and a more humane outlook. Hitting your head against the wall will only cause pain and bruising and no-one will listen if this is the tactic you use. The wisdom of the ages should teach us to be humanitarians first and foremost. Our opinions are personal and if you cannot get along with those in your immediate vicinity, it may be wise to go your own way, and quietly please.

Also today Sun square Neptune. Not the day to trust strangers, get involved in any project you know little about or to be trusting even with those whom you thought would never deceive you. Con artists will flourish today so make sure you know all the facts about someone before you even dare hand over a dollar of your hard earned income to them. There could be a big drug haul occur today and they may even get away with it, unless of course an insider wants to get them busted for a previous indiscretion involving a matter of trust that went badly wrong. Don’t get married today or start any new business for there will be hidden traps for the unwary or the gullible. This alignment is potentially very secretive and people are prone to be susceptible to major confusion. Some who are into swindling and scams will pull the wool over the eyes of those who are gullible and take everything at face value. There will be wolves hiding beneath sheep’s clothing. There will be many who will camouflage their true colours, so for those who are wearing blinkers, you may suffer at their hands. To put it simply, as I have said before, trust everyone, but cut the cake yourself. Drugs may be found in unlikely places or hidden by people whom you would not suspect. Just remember, no-one should be above reproach. Beware of danger or problems near the ocean, gas, oil wells, and take care that there is nothing contaminating your food or drinks. Poisoning can occur for the unwary.

Friendships formed today need to pass the test of time before people are considered trustworthy. Someone in power may be on an ego trip, or trying to call someone's bluff on a major issue. Do not trust strangers or any new kids on the block.

Thursday 19 November: Venus square Mars. This is a contentious aspect between Venus, the planet of love and harmony, and Mars, the God of War. This can be highly problematic when it comes to relationships. Men and women will generally speaking not see eye to eye, or they both have a totally different agenda. This is not a good day to have a first date, get engaged or married. There is too much potential discord and people only seeing the physical or exterior of each other rather than the true personality. Physical attraction will be the name of the game so if you are the sensitive, emotional and romantic kind, do not get involved with a new partner around this time as this is definitely not the roses and candlelight aspect. This is more than likely going to bring about hot and steamy encounters that often are not long lasting, though they can be if each person is highly evolved and mature.

Tuesday 24 November: Venus square Jupiter. This is not perhaps the worst day in the month, unless you are going shopping with that brand new credit card and get carried away by all the goodies on offer. Things will be over-done and lavish and if you apply this in relation to a party, well at least everyone will have a good time, even if they do eat and drink too much or start some new relationship that seems inappropriate to their status. Weddings held today will be big, brash, boastful and very expensive. Diamond dealers may have a good retail trading day as will businesses selling perfumes, flowers, clothing, jewelery and other items of beauty and adornment.
