Become The Magician Of Your Life
General overview for June 2005.
This month of June has seven very helpful planetary alignments and eleven to challenge us yet again.
Once again, below, I have listed all the dates in 2005 where some of the planets change direction. Each month I will look at how this can manifest in our lives according to which planet is changing sign and/or direction.
Jupiter turns direct on Sunday 5 June 2005.
27 March 2005 Pluto turned retrograde for 5 months and will remain in that phase up until 2 September 2005.
19 May Neptune went retrograde for 5 months and will remain in that phase up until 25 October 2005.
14 June Uranus turns retrograde for 5 months and will remain in that phase up until 15 November 2005.
23 July Mercury turns retrograde for 3 weeks and will remain in that phase up until 15 August.
16 August Mercury turns direct.
02 September Pluto turns direct.
01 October Mars turns retrograde for over 2 months and will remain in that phase up until 9 December 2005.
14 November Mercury turns retrograde for 3 weeks and will remain in that phase until 3 December 2005.
15 November Uranus goes direct.
22 November Saturn turns retrograde for over 4 months and will remain in that phase up until 4 May 2006.
04 December Mercury goes direct.
10 December Mars goes direct.
Pluto is still retrograde and will remain in that phase up until 2 September 2005. Pluto is the transformer of the zodiac, and will literally turn your life around when making alignments to your own personal planets. However, when in retrograde phase it allows you the opportunity, once again to re-assess you current motives, your passions, your intimate relationships and your attitude towards, life, death, and even sex to decide if what you have chosen in recent times is for your overall good and development. Personally I prefer it when Pluto is in direct motion, but as I have said before, we can’t always have the planets where we want them or going in the direction we may prefer. Utilise this time to delve into your subconscious, go exploring your deepest psyche and uncover elements that you thought were hidden, even from yourself, and analyse them as if your life depended on it. The revelations you may experience may literally wipe your current slate clean and allow you to pursue your goals with absolute freedom when Pluto resumes direct motion in September 2005. Pluto will remain in Sagittarius until 27 November 2008. It will retrograde back into Sagittarius for five months starting in June 2008 and then re-enter Capricorn in late November 2008.
Venus will enter Cancer on Saturday 4 June for a stay of 25 days (three and a half weeks) up until 28 June. This sign is a home loving one, and also relates to how we feel about our country or home environment, and we may notice that we become more aware of what we love and cherish about these matters. This can bring out our nurturing and protective instincts more so than usual. This can reflect in positive developments within families to harmonise their relationships and make one another feel loved and comforted. Our sense of loving can be influenced by the sensitivity of this water sign and bring out the best in our capacities to be warm and protective of those we love, our home, hearth and country. This three week period can be a favourable time to redecorate the nest and make it more comfortable and homely.
Jupiter turns direct on 5 June 2005 at 8 degree and 55 minutes of Libra. After having been in retrograde phase for the last several months, this will bring a renewed opportunity to restore our faith in ourselves and in the world. Those who feel they have been tested by the adversities going on around them will start to realise that the bigger picture is what is important and that mostly, we are mere mortals, and therefore do not have access to the mysteries that the Gods have in store for us. Those however who are gifted on the psychic level, will know that some of these mysteries and plans can be tapped from the Universal database of information.
There will be a New Moon at 16 degrees of Gemini on Tuesday 7 June. For those who have personal planets at this degree, you may reach a new perspective on a current situation and be able to see into the future with confidence. For some it can be an interesting and busy time involving more than the usual amount of communications going on.
Mercury will enter Cancer on Saturday 11 June for a stay of 17 days (two and a half weeks) up until 28 June. The sign of Cancer is associated with the mother, the womb, home and family matters and our sense of heritage or patriotism to our country. There will be more talk connected to those issues and news reports focussing more than usual on these everyday concerns. Those who are sensitive to criticism will need to strengthen their backbone somewhat less hurt feelings are flying all over the place.
Mars will enter Aries on 12 June 2005 for a stay of 46 days (six and a half weeks) up until 28 July 2005. This is where Mars really likes to be, as he is at home there. This strong and energetic influence will last until 28 July 2005. Those who wish to start any new and enterprising project will feel the vibrations of this influence affect how quickly the job gets started. Basically the energies will be running high and this can be put to positive use by expressing yourself and using your muscles and enthusiasm to get things done. This is not the time to slack off or misdirect your energies. Those who go out of their way to cause problems for others will be wasting the better use of this time. Those on the receiving end of aggressive behaviour will hold resentment and anger towards their perpetrators. Mars is the God of War and in Aries this can be destructive and highly volatile. Those who harbor resentments or cannot healthily express their anger will feel they are being forced with their backs to the wall and all hell may break loose as a result.
On Wednesday 15 June Uranus will once again turn retrograde at ten degrees and forty five minutes of arc of the sign of Pisces for a stay of five months up until 15 November 2005. Uranus is the inventor and the discoverer of places beyond our imagination. We may try to re-discover how we can tap into our own unique imagination and realise our true potential and capabilities. We may have denied some of the things that could be and now we may investigate and discover what really is possible.
The life-giving Sun will enter Cancer, the sign of the crab, on Tuesday 21 June for one whole calendar month up until 23 July 2005. This will tend to put an emphasis on matters connected to the home, family, one’s own country and strong, yet highly sensitive emotions connected to these matters. People are more inclined to set boundaries and walls that divide rather than the elements that unify one another. Some may be over protective of what they believe is their birthright, or their inherited values and traditions.
There will be a Full Moon on Wednesday 22 June with the Sun at zero degrees Cancer and the Moon at zero degrees Capricorn. This is a most significant Full Moon as these signs represent turning points in life, especially if zero degrees of any sign is of particular importance in your own personal chart.
On Tuesday 28 June Mercury will enter Leo for a stay of 69 days (nearly ten weeks) up until 4 September 2005. This could focus lots of newsy items connected to the television and movie industry or perhaps focussing on matters to do with children and their welfare. An orphanage or children’s hospital may receive more focus or notoriety than usual. A young person from a royal background or who is the child of a famous celebrity or other VIP may also be in the news.
Also today Venus will enter Leo for a stay of 26 days (three and a half weeks) up until 23 July 2005. If you want to impress someone, perhaps by throwing a huge and lavish party, do it during this three and half week period and it will be hugely successful. Those who focus on glamour, beauty, fashion, art, music and theatre will be able to harmonise with this duration of Venus in this sign. It is a time to let your hair down and have some fun. Focus on entertainment and having the time of your life and you will be the happiest little blossom on the planet. There may also be some love unions that hit the headlines because of the spectacular entrance they make at a grand occasion. Someone in royalty may declare their love for someone. Those in the entertainment industry will be busy and productive during this time and we may see a focus on romantic movies more than any other style. Some people may tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves.
This month I feel is one that will test us to the point where we will have to be vigilant about our own personal safety and those we hold dear to our hearts. During different parts of June we have the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn in the sensitive, caring, nurturing and homely sign of Cancer. It is the sign of the crab, walking sideways, with a hard shell protecting the softness inside. Whatever we want will probably not be achieved by going direct to the source. We may need to vary our strategy and consider looking at life from a different, or sideways angle.
However, there are still some wonderful alignments this month, enabling us to become the Magician of our own lives and therefore the master of our own unique destiny. I believe each of us can take control of the reins and manoeuvre in the direction we wish to go. The stronger your character, the more likely you will achieve your dreams. Weak people rarely achieve anything of significance in their whole lifetime.
The challenging alignments, and there are quite a few this month, will test our flexibility and our stamina. Some people will cave in at the first sign of an unexpected change in their circumstances. Others will become more determined not to give in, nor give up. We always have the option to change our course and move onto another path.
For horary enthusiasts, continuing all month we still observe Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces indicating that they are still in mutual reception.
Now down to the specifics of daily planetary activity.
The favourable days in June 2005 are:
Thursday 2 June: Mercury trine Jupiter. This angle promises those who strive to see the bigger picture will do so and teach those who listen how to find it themselves. A great day to start a holiday or travel to places previously unseen. This could prove to be a great day to start writing a new book, open a book store or one associated with the travel industry. People will generally tend to be liberal and broad-minded in their thinking and approach to life. Also a favourable day to start teaching, lecturing or writing a lengthy project. The area of communications and information will be busy and any business started today that connects with these will fare well. This is a good time for negotiations and for getting your message across. The advertising and news media areas will be highly productive. There could be a merger between two large organisations, companies or countries, that can benefit everyone involved. Expansion is the key-word for the day, so plan to make this as positive a time as possible. A busy day for the travel industry and the Internet.
Friday 3 June: Sun conjunct Mercury. This aspect makes some people get really focussed mentally while others just get flustered or frazzled by too much grey matter being stimulated. For those who like a fast pace in their daily routine they will sail ahead smoothly and swiftly. The others will have to do it again probably, and then they will get it right. This is called a combust situation, where a planet is so close to the Sun and the Sun can literally burn up the other planet. This can cause a congestion of information on telephone lines, faxes, e-mails and even face to face communications, where one person is just not hearing the other or cannot seem to reach an agreement or get their heads together on the same issue. Postpone any really important negotiations until a better day. Some people will enjoy a day like this and they will not be agitated by the influx of interruptions or extra communications because they will literally thrive on it. At least they will not have a boring day. The rest of us will be somewhat confused and exhausted by the end of the day and be seeking some quiet time away from the demands of this modern world.
Sunday 5 June: Mars trine Saturn and Mercury trine Neptune.
Firstly the Mars/Saturn angle. This can be productive for the automotive industry or any other industry involved with machinery of all types. Those who make long term investments, especially those involving the real estate business will profit from this further down the track. If you can keep your nose to the grindstone, your abilities and efforts will be recognised by those in authority over you. Perseverance, dedication and endurance are the qualities that can be drawn from this alignment so put them to good use while you can. Your energies will be backed up by your determination to plod on until you reach success.
Secondly the Mercury/Neptune angle. This is quite a favourable alignment for us fragile human beings, especially if we wish to tune into the cosmos and see what is really there. A brilliant day to tap into the universal database of information for some amazing enlightenment. New publications released today will do well, especially if they can incorporate some measure of mystery into their stories. Starting a new book focussing on the mysteries of the Universe, dreams or psychic phenomena will proceed very well. Travel brochures will be eagerly snapped up today and bookings made for overseas destinations with great enthusiasm. The travel industry in particular will have a busy day moving people from A to B in quick succession.
Sunday 12 June: Venus trine Uranus. Those who dare to be innovative will capture the attention of their audience in a startling and exciting way during this time. Love relationships started today will be different in as many ways as there are stars in the sky. People involved in the arts, musical, beauty or related fields will be very productive and become more creative and inventive than usual. Those who wish to shock the conservative ones will be pleasantly surprised at how well they are actually accepted. The more unique your product or talent that you wish to show or sell will prove highly prosperous. A good day to get married, go on a first date, buy new clothes or throw a party or become involved in any form of entertainment. Love at first sight can happen today for those who are footloose and fancy free. However, be aware that this can be over before you have found out their surname. Sorry, but that is the erratic and unpredictable nature of Uranus aligning with Venus the planet of love and harmony. Relationships and friendships can start and end relatively quickly, but hey, if that’s what you want you can have it in abundance today if you go looking for it. There may also be some unusual couplings going on and you could hear of some people who get together whom you may think are unsuited, and well that may be, but just try stopping them and you will be ignored. Some may take leave of their senses when it comes to starting a relationship with someone new. Some relationships may last a long period of time, but only if a huge amount of flexibility and freedom is incorporated into their lifestyle.
Friday 17 June: Mercury trine Uranus. This is a day for the scientists, the astrologers, inventors, pilots and the aviation industry to be highly productive. Flashes of insight are possible for those who are open minded. A great day to launch a product that is original and designed to have some kind of shock appeal. Some people will get the best ideas they have ever come up with so start a brainstorming session today and it will continue well into the evening due to the high mental energy.
Tuesday 28 June: Mercury conjunct Venus. This tends to incline people towards thoughts of love, harmony and peace. Some will write lengthy declarations of their feelings for the one they adore. Peaceful negotiations are highly likely for those who have the best interests of everyone at heart. A good day to have a celebration, throw a party, go on a special date, get engaged or married. Businesses focussing on communications and the elements of romance will fare well, such as greeting cards offering words of love and friendship. A day of love and poetry and light hearted fun and frivolity. Take time out today to enjoy some lovely music or pleasant scenery and you will be aligning your actions in accord with the romantic and peaceful vibrations of the heavens. Romantic attachments and friendships formed today will be free of jealousy or binding commitments. People will want to be carefree and concerned only with happiness and pleasure.
The not so favourable days in June 2005 are:
Wednesday 1 June: Sun square Uranus. Don’t count on things going as planned today, for every little hiccup can magnify and throw your life into chaos. Air travel may be disrupted or exceptionally busy and mistakes are likely to occur that interfere with the way you had wanted things to go. Have a plan B ready as more than likely you will need it. Sudden, unexpected events can occur quite rapidly and prevent an easy flow of ideas and plans. Avoid rebellious people and eccentrics as they can play havoc with your routines or your way of life. Someone in power may have their status changed or they suffer an unexpected fall.
Wednesday 2 June: Mercury square Uranus. A buzzing and electrically charged day so plan your agenda with plenty of room to maneuver when the interruptions come in. Many will find themselves mentally exhausted after a day like this and the long hot bath at the end of the day will be truly welcomed before retiring to bed. Some will just thrive though, receiving flashes like bolts of lightening entering their brainwaves. Some will come up with the most amazing insights and new inventions. Keep a pen and paper handy or a tape recorder for all those great ideas to make note of before they get lost in cyberspace. The Internet will go into overdrive too and your inbox could overflow or get blocked in some way due to over use. Plans and travel arrangement can run amok so be prepared and have an alternative route to follow. Accidents will happen for those who are unprepared for changes as they arise. Not the day to buy a computer or any other electrical item. Steer clear of potential hazards such as frayed electrical cords etc. Young people are more at risk than the elderly.
Wednesday 3 June: Mars square Pluto. This is the most volatile aspect we have this month and I feel can be connected with potential war threats in the world. As Mars and Pluto both have rulership over death and violence, this is not the time to walk alone in a dark alley or take any chances with your life, or risks to your safety or to meet with strangers. The air can be explosive and deep resentments can build from encounters made today that have sinister intentions. Don’t start any new business or friendships today and make every attempt to avoid people and places of shady character, or large groups of angry people.
Wednesday 8 June: Mercury opposition Pluto. This is an aspect that will test those who are trying to push their wares or ideas on others, for resistance will be felt, which could be very subtle and hidden from view. Documents, alarming news and propaganda will claim the mass attention in some way so be alert and read everything thoroughly that you have to sign. Preferably wait for a more fortunate time to commence any new undertaking, especially if it involves taxes, insurance, or other joint monetary ventures. We need to guard against being manipulated or coerced into something we would rather not do. People who insist on digging up old matters from the past will find they cannot heal their wounds just yet. It is too painful and too confronting. Most communications are likely to be mistrusted whether verbal, e-mail or by letter. Documents may be misleading or have loop holes that are indiscernible. Agreements are unlikely or will be fraught with problems.
Wednesday 11 June: Mercury square Mars. This can produce an argumentative influence. Some people will open their mouths before putting the brain into gear. Some will go off half-cocked, speak rashly or incite argument and conflict. Not the day to start a fight with any close friendships or relationships as heated words can be felt for a long time after this and lead to resentment and loathing. Hurt feelings will go deep and be remembered. Be wise and stick to routine and don’t travel unless you absolutely have to. Do not buy a car or speed if driving. Accidents can happen at the most inconvenient time and if you are in a hurry, slow down, despite how late you will be. You will eventually get there if you can just focus on being the tortoise rather than the hare. Also today on Wednesday 11 June: Venus square Jupiter. This is not perhaps the worst day in the month, unless you are going shopping with that brand new credit card and get carried away by all the goodies on offer. Things will be over-done and lavish and if you apply this in relation to a party, well at least everyone will have a good time, even if they do eat and drink too much or start some new relationship that seems inappropriate to their status. Weddings held today will be big, brash, boastful and very expensive. Diamond dealers may have a good retail trading day as will businesses selling perfumes, flowers, clothing, jewellery and other items of beauty and adornment.
Wednesday 14 June: Sun opposition Pluto. This is potentially a highly volatile and explosive angle that can erupt from out of nowhere and create chaos and ruin for those who take chances with their lives and their safety. A VIP or other person of high standing may take a fall or be held accountable for some misdeed from their past. Any secrets that are buried may be re-surfaced and exposed for all to see. This will be an ugly time for some, as the underworld elements of this can be exposed and create unpleasant situations for people to try to extract themselves from what they are involved in. Not a good day to buy a car, go into business, get married, engaged or start a new job, friendship or other personal decisions that can reflect on oneself at a later time. Be careful who you associate with and do not trust strangers. Alleyways and dark places should be avoided like the plague.
Wednesday 16 June: Mercury square Jupiter. Big plans made today may not fulfill your initial requirements, further down the road. If you order one hundred of something, it may turn out that you only needed five. The emphasis will be on expansion and learning, but the effort and enthusiasm will be just as big an ask. Commit only to what you are suited to, or else you could find yourself out on a limb in less time that you can say your name.
Wednesday 26 June: Mars opposition Jupiter; Venus conjunct Saturn and Mercury conjunct Saturn.
Firstly, Mars opposition Jupiter. This alignment will stir things up in the world. Don’t challenge the law courts today or take on a big project where you are expecting a favourable outcome. Chances are your energies will be wasted or misused or you will be incorrectly guided about a very serious and important matter. Avoid large groups of people or situations where things can be blown out of all proportion to the matter at hand. Not a good day to travel, so plan another day if possible. A judge or magistrate may have a contentious issue to deal with that will be difficult to dissolve and cause embarrassment to someone in a high position, perhaps even to themselves. Some people may go out of their way to make a big splash and could overdo in more ways than one. Unfortunately this can also bring some fracas with the legal system and those who uphold it, so stay away from those doing things to excess, lest you get caught up in their enthusiasm and get led astray and into the arms of the law. Some people who manifest the negative energies of this placement may feel that might makes right and clashes of muscles versus the law can erupt. Not the day to get married or form any other legally binding relationship. Not a day to buy a car or test your strength. Those who speed down the highway, may bring about untold misery for themselves and others.
Secondly, Venus conjunct Saturn. Not a good day to get married, start a new relationship or go on a first date. Any one of these will be productive of delays, limitations or productive of burdens and other difficulties that will be hard to overcome. People will tend to be hard to reach or fathom or understand. Barriers that tend to divide will be more noticeable than usual. Do not start a new business today, especially if it involves women’s products, beauty, music or the arts. Not a good day to try to reach amicable agreements, especially with those near and dear to you. Some will tend to become disappointed in a big way. The air is filled with distance and coldness so don’t attempt to make up with your lover if you have had a fight, as they will not want to hear your plight and may just turn their back and walk the other way. Friendships and new romances will not get off to a good start and may involve heavy responsibilities later on or you find out you have to look after them more than is healthy. Not a good day to start a new business as the setbacks and delays may curtail your freedom and not be worth the effort applied.
Lastly, Mercury conjunct Saturn. This is not the day to make agreements as they may involve regulations and obligations that tie you up in knots. There could be some serious decisions made that affect people long after the present. The Mercurial influence could be darkened by sombre Saturn’s habit of making it difficult to see eye to eye and reach amicable agreements about any of these matters. However, those who are wise can instruct those who are not. Those who refuse to take a wider view will only alienate themselves from a comfortable position and find themselves on the other side of the wall. This though can be a good day for serious study. It is not good for purchasing land or other real estate. If you do, then make sure there are no potential problems to do with dampness or rising water levels in the area.
