Stand Tall

General overview for March 2007.

This month of March is going to be rather interesting as Mercury will resume direct motion and expansive Jupiter, one of the major heavenly players, forms a very helpful alignment to restrictive Saturn.

There are 10 positive alignments compared to only 3 negative ones, and 2 that can go either way. This gives us more opportunities to make the right choices. This is enhanced by the Sun’s entry into dynamic Aries, which is the leader of the zodiac. So if you have ever wanted to be out front, then stand tall and go out there and show the world what you are made of. Confidence levels will reign supreme between late April and late May. The Jupiter/Saturn alignment is powerful and highly motivational. We can see the bigger picture and make long range plans for our future with confidence and the necessary tools and energy to get there. We don’t have to break down the barriers, we just have to widen them a little. Look at your life and determine what areas you can easily enhance or gain greater freedom and work within the framework of mother nature and time itself. Standing tall for your beliefs and convictions can be achieved much easier during this time.

In chronological order there are various changes in the heavens this month and they are: there will be a Full Moon on 4 March; Mercury turns direct on 8 March; Venus enters Taurus on 18 March; Mercury re-enters Pisces on 18 March; there will be a New Moon on Monday 19 March; and lastly the life-giving Sun will enter dynamic Aries on Wednesday 21 March.

There will be a Full Moon on Sunday 4 March with the Sun at thirteen degrees of mystical Pisces and the Moon at 13 degrees of analytical Virgo. As these are both highly sensitive signs, the clash may bring out a sense of touchiness or emotional outbursts to the fore. Some will be particularly thin skinned when it comes to criticism, so tread gently with the kind and friendly folk on the planet. Make the best use of this time by attending to projects requiring both imagination and precision.

On Thursday 8 March Mercury will turn direct at 25 degrees of Aquarius so if you have any personal points at that degree, some information may come to light regarding the area of life that Mercury rules in your own personal chart. Generally speaking, when Mercury moves back into direct motion things start to pick up speed, especially if they have recently undergone alterations or delays of any kind. Communications get back to normal, people will finally return your phone calls and the fax machine decides to work yet again, finally! Plans that had been put on hold, or holiday arrangements may now seem to flow a little smoother. You can safely trust that your thought processes are once again back on track and not as changeable as just recently.

Mercury will re-enter Pisces on Sunday 18 March and remain in this sign up until 11 April. This is the time to tune into the Cosmos for insight and guidance. There will be mystics in the news and all sorts of movies coming out during the next two and a half months that will focus primarily on things that are intangible such as dreams, visions, clairvoyance, magic, mysteries and all elements of the unknown, untried and untested. Those who seek to find their true destiny may very well be inspired and start out on a new path of self discovery. Artists, musicians, poets and writers of mystery will have a wonderful time finding the most imaginative ways to be productive of creative and beautiful works.

Also today Venus will enter her own sign of Taurus and remain in this sign up until 12 April. This is a time when most will be focussing on the comforts of life and the material issues that affect us on a day to day basis. People will be looking for stability and safety connected to their resources. The musical and arts centres will be in focus as well as items of beauty, furnishings and all women’s products. A particularly good time to put your money into investments that centre around these products or services. There will be a particular announcement made this month concerning a love affair that will be put on more solid footing. Perhaps someone in a high position or connected to royalty makes an engagement announcement!

There will be a New Moon at 28 degrees of the mystical, sensitive and compassionate sign of Pisces on Monday 19 March. For those who have personal pints at this degree, it could be very insightful for you. This would be a great time to tune into the Universe, the inner self and open our hearts and our minds to the other people sharing this planet with us. We can reach out and let them know we care, in as many ways as there are stars in the sky.

The life-giving Sun will move into Aries around Wednesday 21 March and remain in this sign for one whole calendar month. This can be a time of high energy for many and the enthusiasm is there to start new projects. Some though may only start things and never finish them. Motor car racing may be in the news and athletes associated with various sporting industries. Accidents are more likely for those who rush or speed around so care needs to be taken to slow down to stop and smell the roses. Someone in power may make some rash or hasty decisions during this month long stay.

For horary enthusiasts, continuing all month we still observe Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces indicating that they are still in mutual reception.

Thursday 1 March: Mercury sextile Pluto. (repeated from 1 February this year). This is the day that detectives and the police can uncover hidden motives, dead bodies, or anything else that has been covered over. Also a good time to start writing a mystery novel, solving a crossword puzzle, or doing that jigsaw. The mind will be penetrating and clear. Those who seek to discover what lies beneath the surface of things will be pleasantly surprised with what they find. Starting a new study course too will keep those in attendance in awe of what they learn.

Tuesday 6 March: Sun conjunct Uranus. Do not count on things going as planned today, for every little hiccup can magnify and throw your life into chaos. Air travel may be disrupted or exceptionally busy and mistakes are likely to occur that interfere with the way you had wanted things to go. Have a plan B ready as more than likely you will need it. Sudden, unexpected events can occur quite rapidly and prevent an easy flow of ideas and plans. Avoid rebellious people and eccentrics as they can play havoc with your routines or your way of life. Someone in power may have their status changed or they suffer an unexpected fall.

Thursday 8 March: Venus trine Jupiter. This is a brilliant day for getting engaged, married or starting a new romance or friendship. Also good for opening a new business, especially if it is connected to women’s products, entertainment, the travel industry or foreign relations. Throwing a lavish party will also meet with success, though could be very costly. Starting a long distance journey, voyage or holiday could put you on a new learning curve and would be highly enjoyable and may result in a new love interest in your life, if you are single and fancy free.

Friday 9 March: Venus trine Saturn. This is the type of alignment that suggests a good time for entering into new negotiations, friendships or marriage. Any new business that is involved in the finance industry, or to do with women’s products and services, florists and perfumes will prosper if you can stick it out for the long haul.

Saturday 10 March: Venus sextile Neptune. This is just wonderful for a first date, getting engaged or married or throwing a huge party or other social gathering. If you utilise the themes of the ocean, romantic or magical effects, the outcome will be truly fascinating for all those who participate. Musicians, artists and poets will be in their element with their thoughts and imagination flowing freely and inspired by the mystical aspects of the Universe. A good day to open a business focussing on the elements of beauty, flowers, crystals, perfumes and women’s products. This could be a heavenly day. Some people may be lucky enough to find their soul-mate. This is a magical time and will colour over all misgivings and produce a haze of wonder and delight that will leave you gasping. New friendships or romances commenced today seem idyllic and will restore your faith in humanity. People generally will appear to be more caring and compassionate. This is the kind of day when everything looks beautiful and inspirational. An ocean journey would be quite pleasurable to the senses or any other similar beautiful scenic location. This harmonising of Jupiter with Saturn can be great for investing in real estate, for starting a new business project, attempting some mammoth challenge and knuckling down to apply yourself 100% and more for the years ahead. A good day too for getting married, buying a home, starting a new savings strategy. Mixing business with pleasure can spell success if you are conservative yet expansive and philosophical in your approach. Contacts with those in a position of power or influence will also meet with approval. Adjust your sights to take in the bigger picture, yet weighing this with a strong sense of responsibility and determination to succeed.

Saturday 24 March: Mars sextile Jupiter. Another wonderful day promising opportunities that will bring growth and abundance to those who put in the time and effort. A good day to start a new business or buy a car or go travelling. Some will take on more than they can handle, but most will be wise with their time and their expectations. The travel industry will be busy and this is a good time to invest in something you have researched previously and now you can take a punt and anticipate that all will end well.

Monday 26 March: Mars conjunct Neptune. This is an influence that can go either way. This can be brilliant for putting your head together with another for inspiration. As Mars rules the head and Neptune rules the imagination, much can be gained by taking some time out to receive some insight into a situation you had been trying to fathom. Energy directed positively and with great clarity will bring many rewards. This would be a favourable time to put your idealistic intentions into action. This alignment can be used positively by those who are wise, and on a personal level, if we wish to tune into the Cosmos today, some of us may be witness to some amazing revelations on how we can all live in unity and where our future is heading on a spiritual level. Some will be given the gift of great clarity of vision and be able to tap into the medium of success, or their definition of it. Negatively however, this is an alignment which may cloud our vision or create errors of judgment. It can be a potentially deceptive day and should be treated with care. There is great potential for people masquerading as someone else so check all those beards and wigs, just in case. Those who seek to disguise themselves will do very well and walk off with the loot before anyone even suspected that they could possibly be the culprits. It will be somewhat like the lady with the baby in the pram who is camouflaging her real intent of treachery and deceit, in a very big way. Do not start a new business today or attempt some impossible feat, for it will have holes in it that are hard to see or instructions difficult to decipher.

Saturday 31 March: Venus sextile Uranus. Those who dare to be innovative will capture the attention of their audience in a startling and exciting way during this time. Love relationships started today will be different in as many ways as there are stars in the sky. People involved in the arts, musical, beauty or related fields will be very productive and become more creative and inventive than usual. Those who wish to shock the conservative ones will be pleasantly surprised at how well they are actually accepted. The more unique your product or talent that you wish to show or sell will prove highly prosperous. A good day to go on a first date, buy new clothes or throw a party or become involved in any form of entertainment. Love at first sight can happen today for those who are footloose and fancy free. There may also be some unusual couplings going on and you could hear of some people who get together whom you may think are unsuited, and well that may be, but just try stopping them and you will be ignored. Some relationships may last a long period of time, but only if a huge amount of flexibility and freedom is incorporated into their union.

The not so favourable days in March 2007 are:

Saturday 10 March: Sun square Jupiter. Not the kind of day to make promises that you later may find hard to keep. So don’t try to talk or discuss philosophical issues with those in positions of power or associated with the legal sector of society. Some human rights may be violated on a day like this. Not the kind of day to be caught up in a big crowd as things can get out of hand and problems arise to do with large gatherings of people, especially near big buildings or law courts. Do not start any new business venture unless you have a lot of capital to back you up when things don’t pan out as much, or as soon as, you had hoped for. I also would not recommend getting married as it may prove to be a heavy burden involving more than you can safely or adequately handle.

Tuesday 20 March: Sun square Pluto. This is potentially a highly volatile and explosive angle that can erupt from out of nowhere and create chaos and ruin for those who take chances with their lives and their safety. A VIP or other person of high standing may take a fall or be held accountable for some misdeed from their past. Any secrets that are buried may be re-surfaced and exposed for all to see. This will be an ugly time for some, as the underworld elements of this can be exposed and create unpleasant situations for people to try to extract themselves from what they are involved in. Not a good day to buy a car, go into business, get married, engaged or start a new job, friendship or other personal decisions that can reflect on oneself at a later time. Be careful who you associate with and do not trust strangers. Alleyways and dark places should be avoided like the plague.

Friday 23 March: Mars opposition Saturn. We have this harsh angle between Mars the God of War and sombre Saturn. Not a day to start a new business or new friendship or romantic involvement, nor get married or buy a car or other important machinery for your business. Not the day either to invest money or get involved in foreign affairs or overseas interests. Bide your time in all important matters and do not buy a new home today.
